Open-source materials.

PalShade is an independent utility for a separately installed Paltalk client. The current development target uses Qt 6.11.1 Core, Gui, and Widgets libraries already installed with that client. PalShade does not bundle the Paltalk application or Qt runtime DLLs.

Qt source for the current target

The Qt DLLs in our current development target match the official Qt 6.11.1 MSVC x64 SDK byte for byte. The SDK identifies Qt's v6.11.1 source revision. Download the official Qt 6.11.1 qtbase source archive (SHA256 d9594a31228aa23ad6b531719a29b45f0f3989fe6c136d45767ea179f233c1ac). You can also request our retained copy at [email protected].

PalShade does not include or redistribute a copy of Qt. The installer contains no Qt libraries. PalShade works with the Qt libraries already installed with your own copy of Paltalk, and those remain under Qt's own license terms with Paltalk. Qt's LGPL guidance and license overview describe them. The installer includes the LGPLv3 and GPLv3 license texts.

Other notices

The PalShade theme and launcher are proprietary software, and their terms are in the license agreement shown in the installer. The installer uses NSIS 3.12 and includes its license notice. Third-party components keep their own licenses and notices.

This site self-hosts the Instrument Serif, Instrument Sans and DM Mono typefaces under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. See the font notice.
